Hey there! Thanks for stopping by and checking out Shots by Katie!That's me below with my crazy little family. I am a busy farm wife and stay at home mommy to two beautiful, energetic girls. If you stop by my in-home studio in rural Fairfax, SD you may even be lucky enough to be greeted by my husband, daughters, goofy dog and our herd of chickens!

For me, photography brings great joy as I can document special moments in life. Each session brings a rush of excitement and happiness as I strive to capture your story. Natural light and rustic outdoor locations are my favorite, especially that golden, magical light at sunset! I would love the opportunity to document important events in your life; whether it be an engagement, wedding, family, newborn, child or high school senior session.
